A sport of H. 'Pineapple Upsidedown Cake' leaves emerge dark green in the center with a heavily rippled light green margin that turns to a showy gold colour later in the spring. Then later during the growing season the margin changes to a creamy white. The leaves are extremely rippled, variegated, long and narrow, a fast grower with lavender flowers mid-summer.
