Leaves emerge brilliant yellow on red petioles, the red colouring extends from the base of the petiole up into the leaves. As the season progresses, the foliage darkens to chartreuse, but the red petioles remain all season long. Lavender flowers in August on reddish 18" scapes. Amazing contrast with the red petioles and the gold foliage!
