Emerging chartreuse-gold in the spring, a little direct sun will bring the plant into its full-on golden glory by mid summer. The heavy leaves are slightly cupped, deeply veined, intensely puckered, and lightly rippled around the edge. Throw in white leaf undersides and you have no shortage of character here! Forms a sturdy, vase-like clump and blooms with light lavender flowers held just above the foliage in mid-summer.
