The enormous, heavy heart-shaped leaves emerge blue in the spring and take on green tones by mid-summer. Leaves are deeply veined, as if it is pleated, and becomes lightly corrugated at maturity. This hosta forms an enormous mound of neatly layered leaves and is topped with fertile, white flowers in early summer.
