Holar Ice Empress' is a cross of 'Empress Wu' x 'Mr. Blue' with strong leaves of vivid, icy-blue that holds well into the summer. Leaves are a bit wavy and develop some light corrugation with age. As expected, Hosta 'Holar Ice Empress' has purple petioles and scapes, and light lavender flowers bloom in midsummer.
