The first introduction from Belgian hybridizer Louis Vissers. 'Citric Star' is a second-generation seedling from 'Hokkaido' with narrow, wavy leaves that end in a long, drawn-out point. Foliage is very smooth and glossy, with a thick, leathery substance. Hosta 'Citric Star' is vibrant, lemon yellow in the spring, and remains golden-yellow all season. Grows into a small, bright mound that blooms in mid-summer with fertile, pale lavender flowers. Very limited.
